Heirloom. Savoy cabbages are traditional for both northern European sauerkraut and stuffed cabbage, as well as the ragu of the Italian Piedmont. This is a large, cold hardy mid-season green savoy with solid 8 inch heads weighing up to 5 lbs. Start in mid summer for fall and winter crops, planted 18-24" apart. Certified Organic Seed.
