This welcome time saver makes sauces and purees without having to peel and core, cutting literally hours off harvest preparation. Yet it is convenient enough that we use it for individual recipes, too.
The Strainer forces food through a stainless steel screen, easily separating the juice and pulp from the seeds, skins, and stems. We love ours for smooth tomato sauces and preparing apples for applesauce and desserts, but it's also wonderful for baby food, creamed soups, juices and jams.
