Drying Bean Seeds

Grown like snap beans, but harvested later. For fresh use, harvest just as the beans are fully formed and starting to pull away from the pod. For dry storage, wait until the pods are brown and withered, pull the whole plant and hang to dry in an airy shed. Thresh the beans from the pods; they will keep indefinitely.
