Carrot, Touchon

Heirloom. This fine tasting, heirloom French Nantes- type carrot is undemanding and highly rewarding to grow. Sweet and tasty at any size, it will grow to 8 inches. Our main crop variety and a consistent winner of our taste trials, it also excels for over winter cold frame crops - some years we dig the last of our July sown crop out from under mulch in early April!
