This combination of mellow flavored, heat-tolerant greens will provide a range of rare greens for salad making right through the hot weather. The harvest varies from one cutting to the next, as some of the greens are quicker growing than others. Early growth is dominated by Kyona Mizuna. As it is cut, succulent broadleaf golden purslane, feathery, anise-flavored Brussels chervil, juicy claytonia and tender, nutty mache begin to take their place in the mixture. Keep this mesclun cut and watered, and you will be rewarded with a long harvest of special greens.
