One of the most versatile greens available.
Cook's Garden Seeds is the only place I've found this wonderful green. I've been growing it for about 5 years, and I plant it in all of my clients' gardens. 'Zen' Greens can be steamed, or chopped and added to stir-fries, soups, or vegetable sautes.
The plants grow fast, and the leaves have a unique texture halfway between spinach and collard greens. They're great in window boxes, containers, or your vegetable garden. The large leaves make excellent "wraps" for sea food, poultry, or meat stir-fries, while smaller leaves are great sauteed with garlic.
One of my clients was delighted when I planted it in his garden. He said he used to buy these by the bunch when he lived in Singapore, and hadn't seen it since.
